Placement project:
Project Assistant (Digital Innovation & IT Development)
CSIA is developing its digital platforms to expand outreach and integrate innovative technologies into its educational and cultural programmes. This placement will provide support for website management, IT development, and the integration of AI tools into academic and cultural projects. The role offers the student practical experience in digital innovation within an international academic environment, contributing to CSIA’s long-term capacity building.
Outline of duties:
● Assist with website management, maintenance, and content updates.
● Support IT-related projects, including the development of digital tools and online platforms.
● Explore ways to integrate AI into academic publishing, event coordination, and cultural exchange.
● Provide technical support for online and hybrid events.
Expected outputs:
● Improved functionality and updated content for CSIA’s website.
● Technical documentation and guidance for digital tools.
● A prototype or proof-of-concept for AI integration in CSIA’s activities.
● End-of-placement presentation summarising technical contributions and recommendations.
Skills and experience required for the role:
● Background in IT, computer science, digital media, or related fields.
● Experience in website development or management.
● Interest in AI applications and digital innovation.
● Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
