AMPLIFY Summer Showcase: Involving East London Youth in Mental Health Research

We are delighted to invite you to the AMPLIFY Showcase 2024. All LISS DTP students are welcome to attend!

This student-led event aims to showcase community-based participatory research methods and the importance and impact of including young people’s voices in mental health research, offering the opportunity to network with local members of the community sector. 

The event will consist of several activities, including:

1.   Photovoice exhibition featuring pictures taken by young people from East London who are involved in current mental health research to represent their experiences sharing their voice to shape research.
2.  Oral presentations from community organisations and young people involved in research.
3.  Poster presentations: LISS students working with East London youth are invited to share their work via poster presentations. If you are interested in doing a poster presentation, please send your abstract(up to 250 words) to amplify@qmul.ac.uk by 6th August 2024.

Refreshments will be provided. A detailed schedule of the event will be shared closer to the date.
