3:30pm on Thursday, 24th September 2020 (via Zoom)
Registration for this session is now closed. A recording will be made available on this page on Monday, 5 October for those wanting to learn more about our training provision this year.
Due to impacts of COVID-19 and ongoing social distancing measures, we will be hosting an interactive online Induction for PhD students from King’s College London, Queen Mary University of London, and Imperial College who are using social science methodologies.
We invite all prospective LISS affiliate students, current affiliates and ESRC-funded LISS students to attend our Induction session at 3:30pm on Thurday, 24th September to meet our new Deputy Director of Training and Cohort Development, Dr Paul Copeland (Queen Mary) and learn about the training opportunities we have organised for the upcoming year. Please register your attendance using the form below or navigate to this page.
Individual Pathway Meetings will also take place via Zoom following this Induction session w/c 28th September. This is a good opportunity to meet your Pathway Lead, other LISS students in your research area and to discuss potential uses of pathway funding for further development and support of your doctoral studies.
As a reminder, our training programme is open to all PhD students from King’s College London, Queen Mary University of London, and Imperial College who are using social science methodologies. We hope you will join us on the 24th!
NOTE: If you are a new student in receipt of a LISS DTP studentship starting this October, you DO NOT need to register here. You are automatically registered for the full day Induction. Further details will be circulated in September. Please refer to your Welcome Letter for more information.
